Talk about asking the universe and it provides!
I had a bit of a winge to one of my fav programmers this morning at work. Told him the price we were quoted for the photography and he made the apropiate "WOW thats really expensive" remark.
Good boy *wink* - I was only wanting sympathy.
A few hours had passed when another work colleague, Mel, came over and asked if I was looking for a photographer yet as her man's older sister did wedding photography!
YAY!
Not only does she do photography - she has done shoots at our wedding venue before PLUS with the oh so expensive albums she would be happy to just charge for materials, etc.
PERFECT! Since I could probably help do the layout for the albums.
I have her number and email address and will totally be giving her a call.
But wait there is more...
A work colleague of Bens is ALSO giving us a quote. lol!
There may be a cheaper alternative after all *grin*

Good luck with the photography quotes!!! It must be frustrating, it's expensive but something you can't not have! And why pay for something that doesn't really stand out for you. So I hope you are able to find what you want for what's a reasonable price! :)
