More progress...

My eternally patient mother drove me to 3 different stores on Friday to pick up bits and pieces for my wedding invitation experiments.

I had a picture in my head and was prepared to buy anything that looked it was a piece of the puzzle.

Sunday I dragged out the bags of rose petals, textured paper, ribbon and glue to begin my work. 2 hours later I had created 2 invitations and 2 place cards for the tables. They matched and they look great! Ben was happy, I was thrilled. We are set.

I took some photos and will post them once I remember to download them off my camera.

The bright red and white combo certainly works out well when all put together.

The other bits and pieces I have rounded up are 2 appointments with Florists in Sydney to chat about what is involved, prices and what flowers will be available.

I have an appointment with Classic Carriages to view the horse and carriage before we book them.

Oh oh! And check this out!!

I was dabbling around the web today and found the most amazing muscians to play during the ceremony. Listen to the Ave Maria sample - its divine and nearly made me cry. That is the song we want for the walk down the isle; Northern Strings

I also looked at a few other live music options but Northern Strings appeals to me the most at the moment. I have their quote (no mucking around, lol) and will wait and see what the other quartets send me before I commit.

You should see my calendar for the month - its scary!! All these wedding related appointments to meet and chat about what we want. Endless :)

I've opened the flood gate now and I couldn't slow down even if I wanted too. I'm a woman on a mission, ha, ha.
