Ben and I were on the verge of running to JoJo's (Arushie Bridal) after a long day for me in the office and a long day of recovering for Ben who was a little ill.
JoJo was ready and waiting with what was my gown now in the raw silk - the first time I had seen it in the final fabric.
I stepped into the change rooms and put on first the petticoat layer, then the dress. Its fights perfectly and I am happy to say had to be taken in a fraction once again. I'm all for it coming in - as long as it never has to come back out again, lol!
JoJo then drew all over the dress (in washable marker) where the details were going such as the layering and bead work. It was pretty exciting as next time I see the gown it will be well on its way to near finished.
JoJo also showed me his ideas for a headpiece and all I can say is "WOW!" Its really elegant and slightly unusual which makes me love it more.
I was told that by my next fitting I must have my shoes chosen and with me so JoJo can do the hem line.
Its all happening now!
Yes Ben saw it but I reassured him that what he saw and the end result were going to be very different.
So a new task for me - MUST FIND SHOES! ha ha
