Bought the shoes

Ben and I trekked into the city for a bit of a day trip on Saturday. I took the opportunity to go and look at the shoes shown in my post below and of course LOVED them...even though the store was a little tricky to find.

Just to be sure I tried on 4 or 5 other styles but they were either uncomfortable or just not as nice. The shoes I chose are SUPER comfy and the perfect heal height.

So shoes are now done!

We also attempted to order some of the supplied for the wedding invitations. The key items is the small thin box I had used when I put together the mock-ups. When we got to Birkenhead Point shopping center I was devastated to find that shop no longer exists so I couldn't order the boxes.

I have since located very similar ones on ebay that are a mixed batch in terms of colour but the same style of box. I emailed the seller asking if he would be prepared to sell me just the red boxes - shall see how I go.

Other then that I think I have done a fairly fast recovery from the wisdom tooth surgery. I did drop some weight, about 3.5kgs in 5 days, however it has gone back up 1kg now I am on more solid foods. I'm glad I did push the dress fitting back :)

Its great knowing the wisdom teeth and gone forever as they have been hanging over my for years. I think I first found out they were a problem when I was 20...I'm now 28, ha, ha!

Have also chatted about taking the dance classes back up again but Ben isn't too keen second time round. It was actually pretty hard :)

The Wedding bands have all arrived. Bens is HUGE...a 1300mm wide thick gold band. He loves it and has asked me to think of something to be engraved on the inside. I could fit a entire sonnet inside it! My bands then arrived a month later (which was Wednesday last week) as they had to have their rocks set. Now I say 'bands' because Ben went and ordered the eternity ring too. The eternity is a mirror image of the wedding band. I'm not sure the protocol on eternity rings in terms of when they are received but that is entirely up to Ben.

We have asked to leave them with the jeweler till much closer to the date. God forbid we had them at home and lost them.

Less then 6 months to go...
