Have I finally found the shoes?

After many many many disappointing shoe store visits I took advice from a friend and decided to hit the World Wide Web for my shoe search.

Now I had set a budget on the shoes - no more then $250 which is still allot, but not when the "w" word is involved (that being 'wedding'). I've seen 'bridal' shoes that are more $500. Scary!

After about 2 hours of browsing online catelogues, ebay, and various other wedding related websites I came across these shoes;



Arn't they beautiful!! They are from the Alan Pinkus range - whoar!!

Now they are only in 2 places in sydney - both equally tricky to get too so might have to wait till after the operation but I WILL GET THERE!, lol!

In the mean time I emailed the store to make sure they were a current model *grin*

~~DRESS UPDATE~~

I've lost track of how many fittings I have had - I think I am up to number 4 or 5...

ANYWAY...

Due to the surgery end of this week and the warning that my weight would take a dive while I am off solid food I pushed the fitting back so that my body has a chance to return to normal. This just happenend to time nicely with my mum visiting Sydney for a family 'do' so the next fitting will consist of "Mother of the Bride" plus 1 or 2 bridesmaids as we see a glimpse of the beading and final layers on the gown. Set for June 6th. Exciting!

~~Other News~~

* Finally agreed on the Bridal Waltz song! Only took us 18 months but to be honest we weren't looking too hard. Of course the song we chose was one we both had right under our noses.

* Gifties for the gals and lads in the bridal party are being sourced.

* Started ordering in the bits and pieces for the invites so we can set up a working-bee weekend with volunteers and get them all made.

* Flower girl dress - have begun looking at styles for the little princess

* The girls are off and running with plans for the Bridal Shower and Hens Night - exciting!
